MAMMOTH LAKES – Two structure fires were deliberately set in the Mammoth Lakes area on the morning of August 26th. The perpetrator was swiftly identified by law enforcement and arrested.
On the same day, 29-year-old Patrick Zepeda was identified as the suspect and was arrested on 2 counts of arson, one count of attempted murder and one count of burglary.
The Mammoth Lakes Police Department reminds us that during the ongoing investigation, “Mr. Zepeda remains innocent until proven guilty.”
