Sonora Police Department finally apprehends suspect with warrants

SONORA – The Sonora Police Department recently issued a press release about 33-year-old Roy Allan Chandler Jr. and how he “leg-bailed from officers in an attempt to evade capture for his felony warrant.”
On September 5th the SPD arrested him for “outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants, possession of meth and violation of felony probation.”
Chandler was discovered near the 700 block of West Stockton Road. He had a bag of methamphetamine on him as he was being arrested.
Chandler was “booked at the County Jail on his no-bail felony warrant for weapons charges, as well as fresh charges related to drug possession and violating the terms of his probation.”
