The morning of September 17th, Tulare County Sheriff deputies responded to a home on Lincoln road in Visalia where a mother was being threatened by her son.
56-year old Enrique Carreon bid his mother a goodnight on the 16th by threatening her.
He continued his threats the next morning, stating he would kill her and burn the house down.
The suspect intensified his threats when he grabbed a kitchen knife, at which point his mom fled to a neighbor’s house to call 911.
Carreon ran away from deputies upon their arrival.
He was found on the roof of his mom’s house, and was arrested and booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility where bail is set at $60,000.
He faces charges for criminal threats, a felony.
