According to the Palo Alto Police Department, they arrested 19-year-old Kamron Malek Albert Johnese and 20-year-old Kevon Earl Rabb, both of San Francisco, for auto burglary  and possession of burglary tools.

Their crime spree began in July of 2019 with the break-in of several parked cars around the Stanford Shopping Center, occurring on July 25 and July 30. Two suspects were arrested after a traffic. The thieves targeted a vehicle that had two backpacks with electronics in them. The backpacks were taken after smashing the window of the car. Another car parked in the area of the Stafford shopping center was broken into, with the driver also reporting a smashed window. The driver stated that items were tossed around but nothing was taken.
