CULVER CITY – The father and mother of a 5 ½-month-old baby boy pleaded “no contest” on September 26th in connection with the death of their son Jacsun M. on New Year’s Eve of 2018, announced the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Adam Manson (dob 6/19/84) and Kiana Williams (dob 5/30/86) each entered pleas to one felony count of child abuse resulting in their son’s death. They also admitted the special allegation of causing that death.
Prosecutor, Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami of the Family Violence Division, Complex Child Abuse Section, said that the couple “were staying in a South Los Angeles motel room with Jacsun. They were doing drugs and later found their child was dead.”
Next, “The pair put the boy’s body in a suitcase and discarded it in a trash dumpster, said Hatami. “The child has never been found.”
As a result, the pair were immediately sentenced to six years in state prison.
The investigation of Case BA475402 was conducted by the Culver City Police Department.
