NBA Atlanta Hawk’s Allen Lester Crabbe III Charged with DUI in West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD – The Los Angeles County District Attorney announced the September 26th DUI charge of Allen Lester Crabbe III (dob 4/9/92) of Los Angeles.
The suspect was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence after a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled him over earlier this year, said the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Crabbe was stopped in West Hollywood, found allegedly driving under the influence, and arrested on June 26th.
Case 9AR32954 lists charges for misdemeanors of one count each of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving with .08% blood alcohol content or higher. The case is still under investigation.
An American pro basketball player for the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks Basketball, the 27-year-old Crabbe played college basketball for the California Golden Bears. As a junior he earned third-team All-American honors. He was also named the conference player of the year in the Pac-12.
He is facing six months in county jail. Arraignment is anticipated in Dept. W73 Airport Branch of the L.A. County Superior Court.
