LOS ANGELES – Some time ago, the rapper Kamaiyah was attending a private movie screening at an apartment complex in the San Fernando Valley.
During the show, a woman later identified as the rapper, was seen on surveillance video taking out a firearm and firing a shot. It is possible that the shot went off accidentally as she played with the gun.
Kamaiyah Jamesha Johnson was arrested recently after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She was booked for felony discharge of a firearm. She secured her release after posting a $35,000 bond.
