Hamlet Abrahamyan and three others arrested for illegal cultivation

KERN COUNTY – With search warrants in hand, locations in Mojave and Rosamond were investigated on October 4 for illegal marijuana cultivation.
Various personnel from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit as well as the California Department of Fish and Wildlife participated in the operation.
As a result, 4,885 marijuana plants were seized as well as 5651 pounds of processed marijuana. The processed marijuana has an estimated street value of $2,546,000.
Investigators also seized $4,949 in cash and a stolen .357 revolver.
A total of four arrests resulted from the search warrant –
60-year-old Artemio Lepiz of Mojave;
25-year-old Clark Lepiz of Mojave;
26-year-old Hamlet Abrahamyan of Rosamond;
48-year-old Fidel Torres of Rosamond.
All four were arrested for illegal cultivation of marijuana.
