NAPA – Four years ago two victims of Alvin Villette Caparaz came forward, alleging that he had molested them between 2010 and 2014.
Detectives with the Napa County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division “began an extensive investigation.”
Shortly thereafter, they arrested 47 year old Caparaz in San Francisco.
In his trial, Caparaz was found guilty of two counts of forcible lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under 14 years of age, aggravated sexual assault of a child, forcible penetration of a child under 14 years of age, and two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child under 14 years of age.
On September 20th of 2019, the suspect was formally sentenced to 90 years to life in state prison.
