SAN FRANCISCO — Police have announced the arrest of one of three suspects in connection to an assault and robbery that occurred back in July of 2019.
Just after 1 PM on Monday, July 15, officers responded to Stockton and Pacific Streets, where they learned that two male victims, ages 56 and 69, respectively, had been assaulted and robbed.
Police say three men reportedly approached the 56-year-old and one of them lifted him off his feet, threw him to the ground. Upon trying to intervene, the second victim was knocked unconscious.
At one point, the first victim was robbed of his watch.
Both men were treated for head injuries at a local hospital and later released.
On the morning of Tuesday, October 22, authorities served a search warrant in Oakland and arrested 19-year-old Dashawn Pierson in connection to the incident.
At the time of this article’s publication, the other two suspects are still at large.
