DEL NORTE – On October 15, 2019 a student reported seeing another student with a possible gun at Del Norte High School.
Officials then enacted a district wide lock down. A search was then conducted by various law enforcement agencies to find the suspected student. The suspect was later located and arrested on an unrelated juvenile arrest warrant.
The Investigation concluded that gun in question was a replica. The press release added that “allegations related to brandishing a replica firearm and criminal threats are being investigated.”
