WHEATLAND – On November 4th an employee at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm notified their security staff after he noticed a male customer purchase tickets with a counterfeit $100 bill.
As security was notified, the man tried to flee, but was ultimately unsuccessful in his flight attempt.
Officers responded to the location, and the man 50-year-old Glenn Cowles of Sacramento was arrested and then booked into Yuba County Jail for passing counterfeit money.
Kudos especially go out to the employee who spotted the fake bill.
The bill pictured in this story is not the one used in this incident, but is an example of a counterfeit bill.
