NAPA -On October 16 a report came to the Napa County Child Welfare of possible incidents of child molestation. Shortly after the welfare department contacted the Napa Police Department about the incidents.
It was also reported that the child involved was still in danger and that they “required an immediate response.”
An investigation was immediately conducted including a “child forensic interview.”
Just after 5:00 p.m. 35-year-old Flemin Fernando Martinez was arrested near Laurel Street and Griggs Lane.
After an interview at the police department, Martinez was taken to the Napa County Department of Corrections and booked for the charges of –
- forcible rape of a child 14 years old or younger;
- oral copulation of a child 10 years old or younger;
- lewd and lascivious act with a child;
