The Gridley-Biggs Police Department issued the following announcement on their Facebook page recently-
“Another one for the good guys today! At approximately 3:30 this afternoon, Officer Pasley made a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Independence Way and West Liberty Road. During the stop, Officer Cooley deployed K9 Kilo. Kilo alerted to the odor of controlled substances. During a search of the vehicle, officers located approximately one ounce of methamphetamine, packaging and paraphernalia. Officers arrested the driver, Danny Conn (50) of Gridley for possession of a controlled substance for sale.
We want you to know we take the drug issues that affect our community very seriously, and will do our best to get this poison off the streets. If you suspect this type of activity is occurring, please report it. We would like to thank everyone for your support of the K9 program, as it is making a difference in the community.”
