CITRUS HEIGHTS – The Citrus Heights Police Department set out bait items around Tupelo Drive and Antelope Road, although their press release does not specify what sort of “bait” it was.
No matter, Kyle Conrad and Meiko Lewis found and took the bait, and were then arrested.
Conrad is on probation for burglary, possession of stolen property and burglary tools. He also has “prior arrests for felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, resisting arrest, burglary, possession of stolen property, grand theft, conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, vehicle theft and battery, just to name a few.”
The CHPD adds, “Mr. Conrad and Ms. Lewis are both residents of Sacramento. We are glad we caught them stealing from us and not one of our citizens! #dontsteal #notonourwatch #baitteam2badguy0”
