DOUGLAS CITY — Deputies have arrested four individuals on suspicion of burglary, grand theft, and drug charges following reports of a home invasion earlier this month.
Around 7 AM on Saturday, November 2, Trinity County Sheriff’s dispatch received a call about a possible home invasion robbery.
Responding deputies and CHP officers determined there hadn’t been a robbery, but residents said they’d seen suspicious individuals who appeared to be casing homes.
Officials searched the area and came across the suspect vehicle, along with its sole occupant. Further search eventually turned up three more suspects, who’d been roaming the area on foot.
Investigation revealed that the four had burglarized a building and stolen growing marijuana from an outdoor garden.
The suspects are identified as Joshua Nelson (35) of Shasta Lake City, Duncan Devine (31) of Eureka, Kenosha Wilson (28) of Redding, and Clyde Davis (32) of Redding.
Their charges include burglary, grand theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
