The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office sent out the following statement in regards to a recent burglary in which three firearms had been pilfered –
“(San Andreas CA) On November 26, 2019, at about 7:00AM, Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a report of a burglary in the 1000 block of Forest Hill Dr., San Andreas.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a shotgun and two rifles had been stolen from inside the residence.
Throughout the day, deputies contacted witnesses and evaluated evidence that ultimately yielded two juvenile suspects, (1) 16 years old and (1) 15 years old.
While questioning one of the suspects detectives located an additional short barrel shotgun (serial numbers removed) and a set of brass knuckles in the juveniles possession. All firearms from the burglary were also located. The two juveniles were placed under arrest and later booked into juvenile hall.
The case is still under investigation. There is no further information at this time.”
