FONTANA – Pride is considered the foremost of the seven deadly sins, especially when it rears its ugly head. In this case, it attacked many heads.
Destinee Watson (23) of Bloomington was executing her daily cleaning at the Pentecostal Church of God in Bloomington on November 29th.
When Watson experienced the sting of disrespect from a church employee and her pride got the best of her – a vicious attack ensued. The first victim was grabbed by the hair, and punched multiple times in the head.
Another employee intervened in an attempt to separate Watson from the first victim. The attacker turned toward the second employee and proceeded to administer further vicious moves.
Victim #2 was pulled to the ground. Watson grabbed nearby scissors and stabbed her in the head numerous times.
Next, a third employee entered the fray. For her efforts in trying to separate Watson from the injured second victim, the third wound up in a fight and was stabbed in the face.
“Victim #3 was able to run to safety and wait for deputies to arrive,” reported Fontana Sheriff’s Station. “Deputies arrived on the 9900 Block of Orchard Street, and Watson was taken into custody without incident.”
