It was November 27th, Wednesday evening, when deputies of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 3100 block of West McKinley Avenue after reports of gunshots were made to dispatch.
Upon arriving, deputies found 30-year old Raodel Ruvalcaba injured on the ground. Deputies administered CPR until firefighters and paramedics arrived to take over.
Unfortunately, Ruvalcaba did not survive his injuries and died at the scene. Homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene to collect evidence and take witness statements.
Before the night was over, evidence and information gathered by detectives led them to a suspect, 36-year old Jesus Capuchin of Fresno.
Capuchin was located Thursday morning and promptly arrested. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail where he remains as of the time of this writing.
Capuchin, who already had outstanding warrants for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant and battery of a non-cohabitant, could be charged with murder.
