Orland was the scene of a robbery at the Walgreen’s store:
“On Wednesday December 11, 2019 at about 8:57 PM the Orland Police Department responded to a robbery that occurred at the Orland Walgreen’s, 828 Newville Rd. Witnesses said a black male suspect wearing gray sweatpants, a gray zip-up hoodie, white shoes and black gloves forced his way into the pharmacy and stole medication. Video surveillance shows the suspect running from the store to the north.
We are aware of a similar robbery at a Redding Walgreen’s that occurred less than two hours later and are working with Redding PD to determine if these robberies are related.
