The Corning Police Department reported three incidents during the past weekend via their official Facebook page –
“Our officers have made several arrests over the weekend.
Marlon Tavarez, age 25 of Kerman, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon/addict, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a loaded and concealed firearm, and possessing a controlled substance while armed. He was booked into Tehama County Jail.
Officers arrested Joshua Jensen, age 32 of Redding after we received a report of a male shoplifting at RiteAid. He was cited and released on scene for possession of stolen property.
Officers contacted Agustine Corona on a traffic stop and it was determined that he was driving on a suspended license and had 2 felony and a misdemeanor warrant. He was booked into Tehama County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.”
