Butte County woman arrested on felony warrant, suspicion of arson

“On 02-03-20 at approximately 1653 hours, Chico Police and Chico Fire personnel responded to the report of a possible arson at 1412 Nord Avenue (Chico Trailer Haven).
The fire was quickly extinguished, but one vehicle was destroyed and two fifth wheel trailers were damaged. There were no injuries resulting from this incident.
A witness followed the suspect from the scene to the intersection of Nord Avenue and West Sacramento Avenue. The suspect was identified as Sarah Almanza and police learned she had an un-related felony warrant for her arrest. Police learned Almanza was known by one of the victims and the incident was not the result of a random act.
Almanza was arrested for the warrant and arson. Almanza was later booked at the Butte County Jail.”
