A man tried to toss a bang of meth when the car he was riding in got pulled over –
“At about 11:40 PM on February 4th a Lincoln Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 50 block of Lincoln Boulevard. Officers noticed a bag of white powder on the ground near the car that was not there when the vehicle pulled into the parking space.
31-year-old Rick Burgess (of Lincoln), who was a passenger in the vehicle, admitted to tossing the bag, which contained over an ounce of methamphetamine.
Burgess was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale, destruction of evidence, a Placer County warrant for receiving stolen property, and a Tuolumne County warrant for DUI. He was booked at the South Placer Jail where he is ineligible for bail.”
