Police Track Down Armor-Clad Robbers on a Path Littered with Guns and Evidence

VICTORVILLE – Victorville PD Detectives made quick response to the 17600 block of Fisher Street on February 23rd at 1:51 AM. En-route Deputies were notified of multiple armed suspects who’d made a forced entry into a home for a robbery.
Arriving deputies encountered six subjects leaving the location in two Toyota Sienna mini-vans and a Ford utility van. Deputies stopped the vehicles and took the occupants into custody – some of whom were wearing body armor.
“Inside the vehicles and along the path taken by the suspects, deputies recovered several firearms, additional body armor, other weapons, and the cash and money orders taken from the victims,” said Victorville PD.
Suspects arrested were:
Biao Chen, 30-year old San Leandro resident
Yukai Chen, 33-year old San Gabriel resident
Weidong Li, 27-year old San Gabriel resident
Jiaxi Chen, 20-year old Temple City resident
En Lui, 34-year old Redondo Beach resident
Duncheng Zheng, 37-year old Monterey Park resident
“Biao Chen, Yukai Chen, Weidong Li, and Jiaxi Chen were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place under suspicious circumstances,” said VPD “En Lui, and Duncheng Zheng were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, and carrying a loaded stolen firearm.”
The two victims remain anonymous.
