ANGELS CAMP – A residence on in the 1800 block of Appaloosa Road was the scene on March 3 of a probation search. The search was conducted in order to ensure terms of probation were being followed.
The search was conducted by Deputies from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Investigations and Narcotics Enforcement Units as well as the Calaveras County Probation Department.
The search revealed 9.1 ounces of cocaine, 2.8 ounces of processed marijuana and numerous rounds of live ammunition.
Two arrests resulted from this search –
48-year-old Ricardo Martinez was arrested and booked on the charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony probation violation and possession of a false compartment. The suspect is held without bail.
55-year-old Shawn Livingston was arrested and booked on the charges of felon in possession of ammunition, felony probation violation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams. He is also being held without bail.
