The Visalia Police Department arrest a man who is a convicted felon as he tried to hide his shotgun –
“Yesterday at 3:15 PM, officers assigned to the Special Enforcement Unit were in the area of Fairview Park when they saw a suspicious vehicle parked near the playground.
Officers made contact with Timothy Rodriguez (37) of Visalia. Officers located a .12 gauge sawed-off shotgun which Rodriguez had on his lap and was attempting to conceal with a laundry basket.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility for charges related to possessing an illegally modified firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.”
