The Placer County Sheriff’s Office reports of a man on busy I-80 driving with meth and cash –
“Earlier this week, one of our deputies on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 80 around one a.m. with a suspended registration.
The deputy pulled the vehicle over near the Foresthill exit, and discovered the driver, 61-year old Jack Stanton Edwards, of North Highlands, was on searchable probation.
A search of Edwards’ vehicle revealed nearly two ounces of methamphetamine inside ten plastic baggies, and over $200 cash distributed between Edwards’ pocket and wallet.
Edwards was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale. His bail is set at $150,000.”
