SAN MATEO – On March 27 a gang-related shooting occurred at Rogell Avenue and N.Kingston street. Two men, aged 20 and 22, were injured in the incident.
One victim was listed in stable and the other in critical condition.
The ensuing investigation revealed that this was “a targeted and gang related attack.”
A home in the 1200 block of Monte Diablo Avenue was the scene on the morning of March 30 of the service of a search warrant by the North Central Regional SWAT Team.
In the questioning by detectives of several people in the residence that followed, 32-year-old Nathan Rodriguez and 31-year-old Karla Rodriguez were arrested and taken to San Mateo County Jail.
Nathan was charged with attempted homicide and assault with a firearm. Karla was charged with being an accessory to a felony.
