The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office relates a story from their county about a truck theft –
“Last Friday one of our observant deputies spotted this recently stolen truck parked on the shoulder of Hwy 113 near Cache Creek.
The truck was taken from a business in Orland earlier in the day, and even though the thief made some interesting alterations to the door the business owners were pleased to have their vehicle back.
Orland resident Colton Smith, 19, was arrested for vehicle theft and resisting arrest after he tried, unsuccessfully, to run from the deputy.
Our deputies are still out there doing everything they can to prevent crime and catch those who are trying to turn this difficult time into an opportunity for mischief. #honoredtoserve”
