Two More Arrested As Detectives Conduct Follow-Up On Gang Related Shooting

At least two arrests have been made and Lemoore PD detectives continue the investigation into the gang related shooting which took place April 5, 2020.
On April 9, 2020, a black Acura police believe involved in the shooting was spotted on the 900 block of Avocado Drive. When the car left the residence, the driver was signaled to pull over.
The driver ignored the traffic stop, dropped off the passenger, and initiated a short pursuit. The car was eventually stopped and the driver, 30-year old Rudy Zamora, was detained.
The car was searched and found inside were several rounds of ammunition and gang indicia. Zamora was arrested for evading police officers, firearm violations, and three outstanding warrants. He was booked at the Kings County Jail, where he remains as of the time of this writing, with bail set at $175,000.
The passenger Zamora dropped off was a 17-year old juvenile later found trying to hide in the backyard of a home on the 900 block of Banyan Drive. The juvenile was found in possession of a stolen and loaded .357 revolver. He was booked at the Kings County Juvenile Center under charges related to the firearm and participating in a criminal street gang.
