A stabbing occurred around 10:30 p.m. on April 24 near Thilda and Kruger Avenues.
The 37-year-old male victim, who had a stab wound to his chest, was taken to the hospital.
At the hospital, the victim identified his attacker to investigators – 48-year-old Rusty Sample.
The suspect drug the victim into the front yard and of his home and assaulted him after stabbing him.
Four days later, officers located Sample’s truck in Dinuba, in a hotel parking lot.
Members of the King County Major Crimes Task Force came to the scene.
When Sample left his room, officers “converged.” The suspect put up a fight before being taken into custody.
He was charged with attempted homicide, assault, kidnapping and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $625,000.
