The Vallego Police Department discovered some high-powered guns recenlty while conducting a parole search –
“Vallejo – On May 16, 2020, at approximately 03:09 PM, Vallejo Police Officers responded to a report of subjects loitering and doing drugs on the property of an apartment building, located in the 1000 block of Grant Street. Upon arrival, they contacted two individuals, Devyn Coney-Jones, 25 years-old, and John Williams, 39 years-old both from Vallejo.
Officers learned Devyn Coney-Jones was on parole with a search clause. Upon discovering this, officers conducted a parole search of a vehicle associated with Coney-Jones and also registered to Williams.
Inside the car, officers found a loaded and stolen Glock .40 caliber handgun, a loaded “ghost gun” (no serial number) with an attached 50-round drum magazine, and another loaded Glock .40 caliber handgun with a 50-round drum magazine.
All the firearms appeared fully functional, and two of the three were loaded with 40 rounds inside 50 round drum magazines.
Devyn Coney-Jones was on parole for robbery. Officers transported both Williams and Coney-Jones to Solano County Jail for the gun offenses and violation of parole for Coney-Jones.
