18 YEAR OLD ARRESTED FOR FELONY DUI
The Santa Rosa CHP issues this story as a warning against drinking and driving, as well as against underage drinking –
“Late last night we responded to a major injury crash on Wikiup Drive just east of Carriage Lane. A Nissan Versa driven by an 18 year old female from Santa Rosa had three passengers in the vehicle.
The driver was unable to safely turn the Nissan through a curve and drove off the roadway. The Nissan collided with a tree, causing major injuries to herself and a 17 year old passenger.
Two other passengers in the back seat sustained minor injuries. The driver was placed under arrest for felony DUI. All of the occupants were intoxicated and under the age of 21.
Stay home, don’t drink and drive. If you’re under 21, don’t drink!”
