A sexual assault report was made to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, May 18, 2020.
Deputies contacted the 15-year old victim at her Lindsay home. In her statement, she named 23-year old Richard Garcia as the man who forced her to have sex with him.
Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detectives located and arrested Garcia for rape. He was booked at the South County Detention Facility. He has since bonded out of custody.
