“This afternoon SIU Detectives conducted a probation search of a 15 year old male in the 400 block of East Locust Street.
The pictured handgun was found in possession of the 15 year old male who was booked into Juvenile Hall for numerous weapons charges and gang enhancements.
The males name is being withheld due to his age.”
