Here’s a report from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department concerning the arrest of a man in their county –
“Last night, Deputy V. Lee stopped a car for suspended registration. The driver, 58-year-old George Schmidt of Modesto, also had a suspended driver license.
Deputy Lee searched the vehicle and located a holster containing a revolver and ammunition under the driver seat.
While searching the car, George asked Deputy Lee to retrieve his walker. Deputy Lee checked a compartment on the walker prior to giving it to George. Located in the walker compartment was a stolen, loaded 9mm handgun with a high capacity magazine and over 11 grams of methamphetamine.
In addition to the methamphetamine, over 200 grams of marijuana and 24 Oxycodone pills were seized.
George was arrested for several charges including possession of a stolen firearm, possession of drugs for sale, and possession of a controlled substance while armed.”
