She had a knife and was chasing a man in the 11600 block of Pine Avenue on June 15 in Potter Valley.
It didn’t take arriving deputies to ascertain that Shaylynn Lockhart was “upset.”
Her behavior that day led her ex-boyfriend to lock her out of his residence.
Lockhart broke a window and got in anyway. Inside, she punched and scratched the male victim.
The victim ran outside, with Lockhart in hot pursuit, adding a 6 inch kitchen knife to he repertoire.
The victim fought off the slashing knife attack with a stool, then knocked the knife out of the suspect’s hand with the stool.
Lockhart walked back to the ex-boyfriend’s residence, taking off her clothes as she went. Once back inside, “she began destroying property.”
A passerby gave the victim a ride in their vehicle.
Deputies arrived and found Lockhart asleep inside. She was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence battery and probation violation. She was booked into Mendocino County Jail with a bail of $30,000 set.
