The Amador County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people after coming upon their car in a casino parking lot –
“On 6/21/20, Amador County Sheriff’s Office deputies were conducting routine patrol of the Harrah’s Northern California Casino parking lot.
The deputies completed a registration check on a black Honda Civic and it came back as stolen.
The vehicle was occupied by Marsha Cook, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.
When the deputies contacted Cook, she informed them that her boyfriend, Umberto Valencia, had been driving the vehicle and was inside the casino.
Deputies contacted Valencia and ultimately placed him under arrest for possession of the stolen vehicle, as well as possession of meth and heroin. Cook was charged with possession of meth.
