“On Monday morning just before 8 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate in Foresthill.
The driver of the vehicle identified himself as 31-year old Trevor Hansen, of Foresthill.
A records check revealed Hansen to be a convicted felon; additionally, the vehicle he was driving had an expired registration.
While speaking to Hansen, the deputy noticed 12-gauge shotgun shells on the rear floorboard of the car and .22 caliber ammunition in the driver’s side door.
Upon searching Hansen’s vehicle, the deputy discovered additional shotgun shells in a backpack.
The deputy also found .22 caliber ammunition rounds in Hansen’s pockets.
Hansen was arrested and booked at the South Placer Jail for possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.”
