CULVER CITY – Multiple citizens flagged down Culver City Police Officers on July 1st at approximately 5:10 PM at Venice Blvd., just west of Sepulveda Blvd. Found – a man who’d been stabbed in the back multiple times.
The victim “had lost lost a significant amount of blood,” said Acting Chief of Police Manuel Cid. “Officers immediately rendered first aid efforts to the victim until paramedics arrived and transported him to a local hospital.”
An immediate investigation was launched by Culver City Detectives. “It was determined that the incident stemmed from a road rage incident, which was captured on cell phone video by a witness,” said Acting- Chief Cid. “The two suspects involved in the brutal attack were quickly identified by detectives.”
Detectives and CCPD patrol officers were able to locate the two make adult suspects and the getaway
vehicle within four hours of the crime. The arrest took place on the 4000 block of Inglewood Blvd.
“Both suspects were taken into custody and booked for PC 664/187 (Attempted Murder), said Acting-
Chief Cid. “In large part, because of the lifesaving measures taken by CCPD officers who treated the victim at the scene, the victim is expected to survive.”
