The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office stopped and then arrested a man after discovering a gun and drugs-
“Last night, at about 10:15pm, 39-year-old Solano County resident David Ponce was contacted at Guy’s Corner (SR 16/Co Rd 89) in Madison regarding vehicle code violations.
During the contact, Ponce was found to be on PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision) probation and he had an active felony warrant for his arrest.
As the investigation continued, deputies located a concealed loaded handgun and a small quantity of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Ponce was arrested for violations related to his being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, carrying a concealed and loaded firearm, possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of methamphetamine, and the felony warrant. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail.”
