Early on the morning of July 10, 46-year-old Dechunn Thomas was arrested in the 5600 block of Arboga Road.
A 911 call from the Rio Inn had come in at 5:00 a.m. concerning a domestic assault in which the suspect tried to run over a female with his vehicle.
He also assaulted her and took her purse, and then fled. Thomas was identified by the victim.
Soon after, deputies spotted Thomas as he got out of his vehicle at a residence. Seeing the deputies, he ran inside and for 45 minutes would not come out.
Negotiations ensued until the suspect came out to be arrested and charged with robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, child endangerment and obstruction.
His bail was set at $50,000.
