The City of Davis Police Department posted a story on their official Facebook page about a recently arrested man for possession of guns and drugs–
“On July 8, 2020 Officers and Detectives from the Davis Police Department assisted the Davis PD Community Oriented Policing and Problem-Solving Unit (COPPS) with the execution of a search warrant in the city of Woodland.
Detectives from the COPPS unit conducted an investigation about recent, illegal firearms sales and opiate sales in the city of Davis.
Subsequently, COPPS detectives arrested Donald Cupler, 48, of Woodland for possession of illegal firearms, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
A total of seven firearms along with high capacity magazines were located.
One firearm was determined to be stolen from Connecticut.
The Davis Police Department is committed to preserving public safety by keeping firearms out of the hands of people prohibited from possessing guns.”
