A call was made to the Clovis Police Department at 3 AM the morning of Sunday, August 2nd to report five individuals suspiciously looking into vehicles at an apartment complex near Peach and West Gettysburg Avenues.
Clovis PD arrived within minutes and found the five males matching the descriptions reported by the caller. A search of the suspects procured evidence by way of stolen property, which included a handgun, tablet, and other personal items.
All five suspects, including three juveniles, were arrested for vehicle burglary and conspiracy.
The three underage suspects were booked at the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Center. The two adults, 20-year old Pasha Evans and 18-year old Nicholas Ford were booked at the Fresno County Jail.
Officers worked on getting the stolen property back to the rightful owners, so far confirming four cases. More cases may be reported once people head to their cars and realize it was broken into or notice items missing. Clovis PD reminds the public to always lock your car, activate alarms if the car is equipped with one, and try to park in well-lit areas.
