The Hemet Police Department arrested a man in connection with the death of two people in this story on their official Facebook page –
“Detectives from the Hemet Police Department have made an arrest following the discovery of a deceased couple in their west Hemet home on Monday evening.
Quintin McCracken, who lived with the couple in the 5000 block of Corte Cerro in Hemet, is the 41 year old son of one of the victims. McCracken was located in San Bernardino (CA) during the early morning hours of August 5th.
Following an interview with investigators, he was placed under arrest and will be charged with two counts of Murder. McCracken, who was released from federal prison in September, 2019 after serving 13 years for bank robbery, was later transported to the Riverside County Jail.
Investigators are still working on figuring out what led up to this tragic incident that rocked the otherwise quiet community.
Detectives confirm there are no other suspects and are treating this as an isolated event. The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of other family members.”
