San Diego Police: Woman found passed out in car with narcotics

“Officers checking on a woman passed out in a car ended up hauling away illegal drugs. Along with a syringe and heroin the woman was laying on, the officers found her companion who was arriving in a separate car. The companion, a man on probation, and the car he was in were searched. Inside, officers found meth, heroin, and suspected fentanyl. The amount was consistent with drug sales. A follow up search at the man’s home resulted in more narcotics and a firearm. Opioids are dangerous, highly addictive, and potentially deadly.”
