The Placer County Sheriff’s Office stopped a driver who had meth and a gun while being a felon out on bail in this story posted on Facebook –
“A Placer County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop in Roseville just before 4 a.m. on August 12th.
The driver, 35-year old Justin Materio of Sacramento, was identified as a convicted felon out on bail for a case in Sacramento County. A search of his vehicle revealed a bag of methamphetamine near the center console.
During the search, the deputy also noticed a loose panel under the steering wheel. The deputy removed the panel and found a zipper case with a loaded revolver inside.
Materio was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drugs while armed with a loaded firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in public, committing a felony while out on bail, being a felon in possession of ammunition and possession of a controlled substance. ”
