2 Women Arrested for Negligently Shooting Off Gun in Rancho Cucamonga
Two women have been arrested following the willful and negligent discharge of a firearm in Rancho Cucamonga.
Witnesses reported hearing at least ten shots go off in the area of Haven Avenue and Almond Street at nearly 4 AM on August 12, 2020. Witnesses added that two females were seen walking to and speeding away in a white truck that was parked on Almond Street.
Deputies searched the area and located the vehicle with the women inside near Haven Avenue and the 210 Freeway. After instructing the truck to pull over, officers identified the two occupants and did a search of the vehicle. Inside, they found both a firearm and ammunition. The women were identified as 26-year-old Antoinette Ratcliffe of Moreno Valley and 32-year-old Tamaika Keaton of Walnut, who was found to be a convicted felon. Both were arrested and charged with willful negligent discharge of a firearm.
The suspects were booked into West Valley Detention Center. According to the August 12th release, Keaton is being held on $50,000 bail. “While Ratcliffe was cite-released on the firearm charge, she is being held on a $50,000 warrant out of Los Angeles,” the release stated.
