On 2:00 am on August 23, a traffic stop occurred in North Auburn.
The deputy conducting the stop recognized the driver as a man he had arrested the previous week for various related drug charges.
24-year-old Nevada City resident Christopher Moll was out on bail for that arrest.
Since Moll was on probation out of Sacramento and Nevada counties, his vehicle was searched.
The search produced a glass pipe, scale, plastic baggies and a WD-40 can with heroin inside.
This time Moll was arrested for “possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance for sale, concealing drugs in a false compartment, committing a felony while out on bail, violation of probation and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.”
Interestingly, the suspect has since bailed out.
