Man on scooter allegedly discards gun, other items while being chased by police

The rider failed to yield and entered the parking lot of an apartment complex. The rider rode around to the rear where he began to throw items in various directions.

One of the items thrown was a Glock 43x- 9mm handgun. The suspect was identified as Alek Pearson and booked into the Solano County jail.

Thanks to officer training and tactics this situation was resolve safety for all. The suspect had no regard for our commUNITY by tossing a firearm in an apartment complex where children are known to play in the area.”
